Cracker Boy Boat Yard

Exhausting day.  The team scraping and painting the bottom ran into issues.  Apparently before being named Virtual Reality she was Bristol Dream.  Another layer to remove before they start the final coat. Ugh! The contractor fixing the sail drives and rudders also ran into the unknown.  Where did that bearing go?  I am guessing the ocean floor.  And then our electrical contractor notified us he would not be able to do the job because he was "too busy".  What?!?  Why even waste our time.  So we scrambled and found another.  And he is way nicer!  And available.   The last contractor did not come by until almost 5pm.  Her company does Isinglass (the plastic windshield and surrounding windows to keep us dry if we need to drive in bad weather) and helped us figure out what exactly we need replaced.  In between we made two trips to Home Depot, one to Walmart and one to Lowes.  We will be back at the boat yard at sunrise to remove the old solar panels before heading to Miami to meet friends for a couple days!

There are no picture of the boat today (not much has changed yet).  But I did catch the sunset while at Lowes.  Very impressed!
