West Palm Beach - Day 4

We awoke to calm waters and skies.  And we were still anchored in the same spot!  Finally!

Cloudy and chilly, we spent the day preparing for the upcoming storm.   Paul worked on the generator while I deflated the kayak and stored everything outside and inside safely.  We double checked our anchorage with tidal charts, wind predictions (both speed and direction) and rain totals.  Low tide is at 1030p and if we don't run aground then we should be good for the remainder of the storm.

There is a very large group of small black birds that nest at sunset every night in a specific tree.  They are VERY loud and sound like children bickering before bed.

The sun has set and it is just starting to rain but definitely is the calm before the storm.

Time for cribbage and a movie!  Goodnight!
