Seabreeze
What we thought was going to be an okay anchorage turned out to be more than okay. We only have two neighboring boats and very little boat traffic so far. The wind has been to our advantage and we are swinging in a good direction. And the bridge is really pretty.
Our biggest dilemma today was where to land the dinghy. Although familiar with the area, we are not familiar with where to park a dinghy. Our handy book states there is a park with a dinghy landing. (We think this is the same park we witnessed a drug bust several years ago). Our other book states there is a public park under the bridge to accommodate us. After driving along the shore for awhile nothing nearby was appealing. We finally "parked" at the infamous park. This pier has been ignored and was in obvious disrepair. Since we knew it was close to where we wanted to be, we tied up and climbed. Sketchy. We climbed over the barricade preventing passage onto the pier and proceeded to walk to our destination. We completed what we needed to get done but we will not be returning to sketchy park pier!
Another beautiful sunset.
