Ormond Beach

After spending the morning shopping, separating portions, marinating and filling the fridge, freezer and pantry, QT earned her name.  It topped out at 90 degrees today and in the marina there was no breeze.  Ugh!  We chilled (pun intended) by watching a movie and eating takeout.  Then we turned on the AC, closed the boat and left to do errands. We got sidetracked at Ormond Beach.  There was a brisk breeze with a mist that was welcome!

And then we stopped at the Granada Pier.  What a beautiful job the city did constructing this pier.  It was clean, had memory benches that were scattered throughout and there was plenty of space for the multiple people fishing, jogging, walking (some with dogs) and just hanging out.  This bird posed perfectly on the railing without flinching as we strolled by.

Looking forward to passing by the pier again on our way north.  A few final chores and time with friends and we will be ready to check out new sights!  The boat was cooled when we returned and the ACs are working perfectly!  (First time we have run them for cooling purposes!)
