Fernandina

The size of the barges that float by are huge.  The skill of the tug boats to get these monstrosities around the bends of the river with strong currents, differing winds and all without running aground - crazy!

This train is responsible for interrupting my quiet times!  Several times a day through two major intersections, the engineer blows the horn lonnnng and louuuud while moving an obscene amount of cars full of ?

We meandered off the main drag today in search of The Amelia Island Museum.  Lots of cute homes with southern flair.  Lots of unusual decor twisted with humor.

We found the museum.  A former jail, it was on the small side but well done.  A lot of information and exhibits without feeling crowded.

We stopped at an antique store where the owner's bird was free to roam.  His favorite spot with his best friend!

We turned in our facility cards and said goodbye to the marina.

One of our better sunsets!
