Mackay River - Wally's Leg

Another early departure and we continued north.  So many bridges.

The river is so shallow for much of this leg in Georgia that we are only traveling during high tide.  Okay with me.  By the time we anchored at noon it was 88 degrees, feel like temp of 95 and humidity 60s - 70s.  We anchored in a remote leg of Mackay River.

I saw my first alligator swimming in front of the boat.  No swimming today!
A few dolphins and a lot of birds.  No people!

When the rain came I decided to take advantage and quickly took my long handled scrub brush, Dawn soap, and scrubbed the deck.  The downpour rinsed everything.  So easy!  (I did quit though when the lightning started.)

No dancing in the moonlight tonight.  😞
