Boating

This post is dedicated to Richard and Sally.  May you have enormous amounts of fun and adventure with your new boat!  I thought I would share all the fun we had we our boats through the years!

Our first boat we purchased in 1987.  We took it out into Narragansett Bay before there were even leaves on the trees.  Buddy, our first dog, loved to jump off and swim.  We had to tie a line to him to encourage him to return.

We didn't always wait for warm weather.  The kids were comfortable from the their first ride, even in car seats!

Our next boat was purchased in 2003.  So much easier with an inboard engine and no stinky gas smell!

Just as much fun!

This was our favorite picnic spot on Rangeley Lake.

Yup, Scott thought he could tow the  boat!

Paul and his dad fished occasionally.  We motored to Fall River a couple times. We picked Nicholas up once and brought him home to Providence to visit.  Unfortunately, Paul developed a kidney stone on the return trip.  No dawdling!  Fast forward to the hospital.

Most of the time was spent tubing and water skiing.  We had numerous picnics at Wallum Lake and Rangeley Lake.  We anchored and let the kids jump off and swim.  So many happy memories.  I enjoyed finding these pictures and reliving the moments.

They all liked to show no hands.  It usually made me more determined to dunk them!  I think they knew that and looked forward to getting wet!

The epitome of a hard day!

Even with Megan holding him, Scott screamed like he was dying!

Have fun and be safe!
