Food
An early morning (and a gorgeous sunrise!) trip to Walmart to get our fresh foods and back in time to meet the electrician.
Chuck full fridges and freezers. With any luck I can avoid another trip to Walmart until South Carolina.
Yup there is still room for something in the pantry but I cannot think of anything we are missing.
I cannot cut the watermelon yet as there is no room in the fridge. Paul's trick to prevent it from rolling onto the floor was a rolled up towel. The wind had picked up earlier today and we did a bit of bouncing.
My first banana bread baked on the boat.
The electrician found our issue with the AIS. A bad wire. Of course he did not have one long enough so Paul ordered one from Amazon and will arrive tomorrow. You gotta love them.
We picked up mom and Maddy at the airport. So excited! They had an uneventful flight and we stopped at a neat restaurant, Cotton & Rye. An old bank, the atmosphere was friendly and the food pretty good. They even have seating inside the old vault.
Maddy tried and like chicken liver!
Fried chicken sandwiches, with a secret special sauce, and cornbread. As only the south can do it!Tomorrow we will start exploring Savannah!
