Success

Success!  We arrived early, Brianna ate, stayed dressed and arrived at camp on time.  She ate breakfast with Minnie.  Thank you Aunty Joyce!

Today's goal for me was to straighten out the vegetable garden for Scott.  Grown from seeds, the plants have unfortunately been ignored since starting his new job while starting a new business.  Of course once I weeded I thought I would cut the lawn quick and use the grass clippings to prevent future weeds.  Part way into cutting the lawn, the lawn mower died.  Ugh!  I wound up digging out old hay and spreading it.  Hopefully the plants will start to thrive.

Paul was a little more successful.  He fixed the tractor which had lost its steering wheel.  However, the lawnmower was not so easy a fix.  Ugh!  A good goal for tomorrow.

We did successfully pick up Brianna on time and enjoyed watching her swim in her "dad's pool".  Love listening and watching her antics.  She tried to teach me a sailor's song but all I really heard was "wishy, washy".

I had fresh veggies from Karen's garden for dinner and Scott and Rebecca came to play cards.  A successful, near perfect day with only a few minor speed bumps!
