Canobie Lake, New Hampshire

 Canobie Lake never disappoints.

Beautiful landscaping, plentiful restrooms and a huge variety of rides, both dry and wet.  It's been a few years since my kids were young enough that I needed to drive them to an amusement park.  Today I enjoyed watching Brianna and Emily explore the rides with awe and laughter.  Thank you Megan and TJ for inviting me and Grandpa Paul.

                                                        They were singing Taylor Swift!

The weather was a bit chilly today with a high of only 76, mostly cloudy and breezes.  Which made the water park a little less appealing.  The girls and I did make it to the top of Castaway Island.  They took the fast way down while I walked.  And of course the Flume.  A favorite of mine since Rocky Point!

Lake Compounce in Connecticut was our other favorite amusement park with both dry and wet rides.  Boulder Dash is my all time favorite roller coaster.  Old and wooden, each trip to the park meant multiple rides on the roller coaster.  Scott anticipated his first ride for years.  When he was finally tall enough, we got front row seats.  He screamed the whole time, "No more, no more, no more!".  Of course when we got off he got right back in line!
