Savannah to Daytona
A brisk morning walk in Savannah in all its beauty, heat and humidity. After our free breakfast we headed to the boat. She was right where we left her but she has many new neighbors. They certainly pack the boats close.
Everything was perfectly dry on the boat. We loaded her with clothes and linens. The hatches and sail are back on board. The dehumidifier is working perfectly as is the solar panels. Yea!
It felt like we had come home. Savannah is just as pretty as I remember.
We even had a visitor when we stopped for our picnic lunch! Fred! He missed us!
We headed south to drop off our sail bag for repair in Ormond Beach. Kelly, our seamstress, is in Bolivia. Ugh! New plan? We are thinking on it.
Tonight we walked Daytona Beach. It feels like we have been in the car for days. We arrived just in time for sunset. Soft sand, slight breeze - perfect night for a walk. Of course we missed our turn on the way back and walked an extra mile. All good!
