A Positive Day
After dropping off bags of donate at the church, I focused on painting in the bathroom. The closet doors were propped on the trailer in the driveway for easier painting. The walls show a huge difference after only one coat. Tomorrow after a light sanding, the second (and hopefully last) coat will be applied. The wood is super dry and many spots soaked in the paint.
Quiet time was spent relaxing in the jacuzzi. Maddie spent the time on the glider where she could nap and still be close to us.
A trip to the dump with our garbage and then a pleasant walk in the still warm late afternoon.
We gave the two hornet's nests a wide berth. Pretty cool how they are made!Things I am grateful for today: The beautiful 70 degree, sunny day in Maine
Being able to open the windows while painting
A nice, hot jacuzzi to help ease the sore muscles
A tasty dinner of Salmon, rice and brussels sprouts
A nature filled walk
And as I condense my photos I found some great memories!
To help my kids eat healthy, every food had a specific job. Green beans made your legs grow. Potatoes made your ears grow. Carrots = eyes. Rice = eyelashes. You get the picture. Scott took his eating very seriously! He had to eat an even number of green beans the same length so one leg would not be longer than the other!
