Fog and Dogs

We headed back to RI this morning leaving behind the fog and 47 degrees.

(Normally a perfect view of Rangeley Lake)

It was goodbye to Maddie and hello Fenway.  Two dogs who could not be more different!

Maddie the gentle giant who doesn't know her own strength or just how much room she requires on the bed!  Tries to be a lap dog but has super sharp elbows.  Still a puppy, she has bouts of zoomies followed by long naps.  Cannot be trusted on her own but will stay by your side happy if she can see you.  Loves to play ball and go for long walks.

Fenway is a fierce loyal dog who LOVES Paul.  His cries when we return from being away are insane.  He is the perfect size to be a lap dog and sharing a bed with him is easy.  He doesn't mind being alone as long as there are no coolers or duffle bags being carried out.  He insists on being in the car when these are packed.  He will walk but not if the weather is not sunny and 75.  I have made that mistake and wound up having to carry him.
