Innergize Day
Today is Innergize Day - a day to look inward and become mindful of oneself. How? These were the suggestions:
Take a long bath - A long soak in the jacuzzi even better (check)
Read a good book - I did finish a murder mystery that was soso and started one about an autistic child lost in the Vermont woods (true story) that is captivating (check)
Listen to favorite music - Classic rock while I painted the bathroom ceiling, perfect (check)
Write a letter - blogging, next best thing (check)
Watch the sunrise - Thank you Fenway for waking me and asking to go out just as the sun was rising (check)
Get a massage - always hope for a foot massage before bed
Also it is Save Your Photos Month.
This is something I feel I have been doing for a very long time. Photos from both grandmothers plus mine have been jumbled together since I vacated Cumberland. Slowly but surely I am downloading them and organizing. I have also found totes full of loose photos at Lucille's. Eventually they will all be organized and shareable.
Meanwhile today's favorite photos:
This photo was taken on the front lawn on Diamond Hill Road just before we left for the Ringley Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. We were super excited. I was a wee bit upset that Karen got to wear the long dress while I had to show my knobby knees. She was a better girly girl.
