More Painting

We just returned from our after dinner walk.  Cut short due to a loose dog we still managed to enjoy the cooler weather as the sun started to set.

The mice have had a great time while we were gone for a few weeks.  The bird seed was found and devoured.  The jug actually has a dead mouse entombed inside.  Both are on the porch waiting for me to deal with them.  Ugh!  Our traps were empty so these are smart mice?  Except for the one who couldn't get out of the jug?

Besides the continued cleaning and purging I did complete another section of the bathroom walls and the closet doors are completed (and gorgeous) on one side and the second side has one coat.

The goal is to complete the door painting tomorrow and reinstall before we head back to RI for a few days.
Meanwhile we continue to live in the clutter of having to empty the bathroom shelves.

My new washer works great.  For now I used the dog run to hang the clothes outside until Paul can install a real clothesline.  The old washer never spun the clothes dry, they always dripped and then the replacement from Facebook marketplace was a dud.  We bought brand new this time.  Thank you John!

Today was National Live Creative Day.  So I got creative and made a couple birthday cards.  This is the first time since getting off the boat that I picked up watercolors.  Thoroughly enjoyed it!
