Lincoln, RI
As predicted, I miss the quiet. Walking in Lincoln leaves a lot to be desired. So many noisy cars and trucks. The foliage is better though (Maine is past peak).
Today is National Alaska Day. We were lucky enough to visit the state in 2014. Absolutely stunning. One of the most beautiful areas - Emerald Lake in Skagway.
Today is also National Mark Day. I am lucky to have a Marc in my life! Eight years younger than me, I had to change a lot of diapers and help feed and entertain him. He walked me down the aisle at my wedding, taught me to play cribbage and makes an awesome veggie chili! We are blessed to call him family and love spending time with him. In 2017, Marc nearly died. We are so grateful he is still here with us and that his story was not finished.
Karen and Marc Has the same smile todayToday Paul sent more emails and applications looking for a marina in Florida (reasonably priced!). I have unpacked from Maine and began packing for Savannah. About 50 degree difference in temperature. And the lists have started. Things we need to bring. Things that need to be done before we put the boat back in the water. Things that need to be done before we set sail with Captain Trent. Things we want to do before we leave RI. Things we want to do in Savannah (Halloween in Savannah!!!)
