Long Way

Despite the cold (40s) I am glad to be back in Maine.  It was a super fast weekend.  We managed to see all the kids, walk on the beach (thank you Karen), celebrate a birthday (Mom) and enjoy walking in the perfect fall weather (thank you Lisa and Paul).

We dilly-dallied and left RI late.  Which meant we arrived late afternoon.  But once we warmed up the house we managed to get a few things accomplished - a coat of paint on the shower shelf and I made the last bed. It may be cold and rainy but it is quiet - no sirens, motorcycles or trucks.  Just quiet.  A long way from Washington Highway.

Our list of things we need to complete here in Rangeley is minimal.  We should complete everything easily.  The weather should improve a bit (cold but no rain).  It is strange knowing we will not be back until at least July next year.  However, I am looking forward to being back on the water and being warm!  A long way from Rangeley!
