Sketchy Dock!
Today's photo pick 2010:
Scott, Megan and Kevin on sketchy dock in Daytona! When we were anchored near Seabreeze in Daytona this past year, and we drove the dinghy to this dock I named it "Sketchy Dock". However, it has been sketchy for longer. In 2010 while visiting Lucille and Louis, we as a family took a bike ride up Riverside Drive along the ICW. Lollygagging we meandered through a parking lot until coming to the dock. As soon as we exited the parking lot, several police cars came screaming in to bust what I assume were drug dealers! Talk about the clueless, oblivious tourists! Sketchy! Needless to say, we pay more attention now to our surroundings.
Today in Maine:
Besides continuing to cut, trim and paint bathroom trim, Paul and I began the task of painting the exterior of the windows.
Screens pulled (and washed) while the windows were taken out and scraped. Then the frame itself was scraped and painted (hanging out the window at times!). Then we wait for everything to dry and replace. Thankfully it was warm today and drying only took a couple of hours.
The kitchen table was my "painting station".
Three windows completed. Only 6 more to go!

Paul hung my chair swing (favorite place to read a book) on the front porch.
And I finally finished hanging driftwood the kids and I have collected through the years!
And Brianna's newly painted bird house!
