Ciro's

Ciro's in Woonsocket.  Who knew?  Over 100 years old.   Run as a bar and a place for immigrants until Prohibition.  Then a brothel.  Then a cafe, a high end food and wine establishment and winner for architectural design.  It was a total surprise.

We snuck upstairs to where the "ladies" rooms were but without lights, everything was hard to see.  So many interesting details.  And the kicker - it was trivia night!  We started strong thanks to Kim but faded fast.  The food was yummy (I forgot to take pics).  But bacon wrapped scallops with risotto - what's not to love.

No word from our project manage at the boatyard.  We did accomplish a lot of our Christmas shopping and I have begun baking for my early Thanksgiving dinner.  We are trying to use our unexpected time home wisely.
