National Chaos Never Dies Day

After packing the perishables, enough clothes for a few days and emptying trash from the boat yesterday, we headed to Daytona to grab our car.  This morning the car required a battery and air in all tires.  But it runs great and should deliver us to RI.

But first we headed to orange County for breakfast with Lorelei and Mori.  A local secret, Pat's Cafe was a beautiful spot on the ICW to enjoy morning coffee and eggs.

And then lunch at Anejo Cocina in Yulee with Karen and Andy.

Today is National Chaos Never Dies Day.  I am a firm believer that chaos reigns daily.  We have left the chaos of the boat yard for the chaos of traveling home through pouring rain, miles upon miles of construction and finding a hotel on the fly.  We are focused on enjoying this journey of Season 2 despite the delayed start.  Visiting friends a definite plus.  Extra time in RI with family and friends, another positive.  Knowing I can host a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with adequate prep time,  priceless.  And I have almost finished Christmas shopping!  These next few weeks will fly by and we will be in the water before we know it!
