Pressing On

This will be our new parking spot for the next week starting tomorrow morning.  Our splash date was moved due to last minute painting and waiting for it to dry.  730am tomorrow is our new time.  Finally!

The rudders are completed and Paul "tested" the steering (best one can while still out of the water).  And despite the rain, the boat washing crew showed up and made Quiet Time pretty again.

The majority of the day was spent trying to find a new captain.  Our original one (that we booked in June) had his Visa expire and the replacement one has ghosted us.  Ugh!!!  Anyway, we have found a couple from Tampa and fingers crossed our stars align and we sail the ocean.  Unfortunately, tropical storm Rafael is stirring things up.  Small craft advisory has been issued through the rest of the week.  Fingers crossed we leave for Stuart on Monday.  (I am running out of fingers to cross!)

Tonight we went over to Pooler to see a movie.  Lost on a Mountain in Maine.  A true story that we both enjoyed.  A story about when the going gets tough - press on!  And the recliners in the theater - perfect!
