Tybee Island
After taking care of many small items on our checklist we called it a day and headed to the beach. The bridle is completely done, speed sensor is attached again (had to be cleaned after it was accidentally painted), bathrooms are cleaned, new bug traps spread out, dinghy uncovered and the process of re-inflating has begun. But the beach was calling!
After fulfilling our need for walking and absorbing and inhaling everything the beach offers, we decided to complete our errands. Unsure which stores would be open on Sunday, we hit them all. Goodwill to drop off the dehumidifier that worked very well while the boat was closed but, there is no room to store it. So we are passing it on. Home depot for a new bleach sprayer (who knew that most sprayers are not bleach friendly) and Allen wrenches in metric. ACE hardware to refill our propane bottle. Nope they only do exchanges and we have a fiberglass tank with a special holder. Onto a different hardware store. Nope they are closed. Onto UHaul. Nope they do not fill fiberglass tanks. Onto Tractor Supply. Success!! Then AutoZone for a squeegee. The solar panels are filthy!
Now tomorrow morning we can head directly to the boat. Hopefully tomorrow will be our last day on the hard. Fingers crossed!
