Lexical

 Lexical, word of the day, meaning related to words or vocabulary.  I love words.  My favorite - exsanguination - the process of losing blood.  I think the word just rolls off the tongue so smoothly and depicts the gravity of the situation.  In a close second place - nudnik - a person who is a bore or a nuisance.  It just seems so obvious.  

Other favorites:  Balter - to dance gracelessly, without particular art or skill, but perhaps with some                                     enjoyment.

                            Pyjamaphile - a person who must put their PJs on the second they get home, otherwise                                 they will never be comfy.

                            Librocubicularist - a person who reads in bed.

                            Puttering - the act of doing dozens of little chores that no one knows need to be done,                                 that no one wants to do and no one notices has been done.

By being organized and having completed Christmas preparations prior to Thanksgiving, I am now rudderless (my word for having no specific direction).  Our Holiday cards have been mailed (watercolors this year), laundry, floors cleaned and a haircut (thank you Kayla for squeezing me in again!).  We managed visits with the kids and yet there were too many hours of "What now?"   So many years I was throwing Christmas parties, birthday parties and doing Girl Scout outings during this time of year.

So I have found a project.  I will be refinishing a bureau for Brianna.  I am excited to be hands on doing something new!  I start in the morning.
