Rainbow Bend, ICW, Georgia
Sunset while at anchor in Rainbow Bend. Ahhh. So quiet. No noise at all. The wind has finally died down after pretty relentless gusts in the 20s all day. We were even welcomed by a dolphin. And it is a tad warmer. After starting the day with multiple layers, I am now down to a t-shirt and jeans. A successful first day of season 2!
The workers showed up just after 730a and completed the job within two hours.
Our hole 2 days ago.Paul even drove straight through Hell Gate with
21 knots of wind and no grounding! This passage
has shallow spots at 4 feet and we draw 3feet, 6 inches.
(Captain Ximena was by my side)
Today is National Comfort Food Day. My favorite comfort food - nachos! These are some we have had along the way. No nachos on the boat this trip though:)
