Savannah Time

This is my day - backwards.  We walked tonight to dinner from the hotel to the local crab restaurant.  The seafood was absolutely worth the walk and the wait.  No one is in any hurry down here.

And the leftovers are in the mini fridge continuing to make my mouth water!

The afternoon sun warmed up nicely to 58'.  I was able to doze in the sun while Paul did a few chores on the boat.

The new bridle was chafing the gelcoat - not anymore, Paul installed a plastic barrier.  The new security camera is charging and will be ready for install.  The exhaust fan for the starboard motor is in place.

I am still in limbo since the hole cut in the boat to fix the break has not been covered.  Why is it not finished?  I do not know.  Savannah time is unlike time anywhere else.  No one is in a hurry.  Ever.  Our splash date is tomorrow at 11am.  No fingers crossed!

Which means I cannot remake the bed and the spare room is chock full of things that cannot be returned to their rightful place.

But they did a beautiful job repairing the broken shaft.
Kind of looks like a strange cave.  Thank you
Paul for crawling in and getting these photos!

And since we were eager to get to the boat, Paul and I were awake early.  The car's windshield had ice!  In Savannah!  (Made my flipflops seem silly!)
