Snow!
Our first snow of the year (we missed RI's first). I love how pretty it looks, especially on the evergreens. Christmas feels more like Christmas with cold and snow. St Augustine was pretty all dressed up for the season with lights but my heart rejoices with a white Christmas.
Of course snow was way more fun when the kids were younger.
The backyard in Cumberland has a hill. Moderately steep and chock full of trees and rocks of all sizes, it was a favorite spot to sled. They all survived with no injuries.

A productive day. I finished all 8 drawers of the bureau and both sides. The last side kicked my butt. I am planning on taking the weekend off and giving my shoulders and wrists a break. But it's looking good!
After a quick nap, the rest of the day was spent cooking for Sunday's dinner. Veggie lasagna, broccoli, rice, cheese casserole and cornbread. Gifts are wrapped and ready to go. Last minute appetizers are all that remain. Which means tomorrow we can have fun! The plan - ice skating at Frog Pond!
