Colin's Park

Our late afternoon walk started on Daytona Beach.  Where are all the people?  Inside where it is warm of course!  We managed just over 1/2 mile being having to turn back.  The wind gusts (20 mph) and the feel like temp of 44 was not conducive to walking with flip flops.  With my eyes tearing despite sunglasses and my toes chilled, we turned around.

So we headed back to the mainland but we erroneously took a wrong turn that led us to a new section of the area.  Colin's Park was perfect for viewing the sunset.

This morning when we awoke (Almost 9am!), we had few concrete plans and thought not to finish everything in one day.  Who knows how long we are here but let's spread out our list.  We don't want to be bored with nothing to do.  Hah!  Where did the day go?

A morning walk that was cut short due to the cold and Paul not having anything long sleeved.

We managed a little over a mile.  But I was okay with that since I knew we would be headed to the beach for a longer walk later.  Not!

We stopped to buy Paul a jacket (Only took 2 stores).  We also stopped at the boat surplus store for hoses.  We definitely scored there!

Paul finalized our hurricane season arrangements while I worked on our adventure booklet for Brianna.  When we left in November she requested I write everything down that we do so she knows what we have done.  So every day I do sketchnotes - pictures with descriptions - bundle into monthly books and hand them over.

And our mechanic located 2 pistons!  They were buried in a warehouse and took the staff almost an hour to locate them.  So, we are headed to Ft Lauderdale tomorrow to purchase them.  The third one we need is still MIA but worst case scenario, Paul ordered aftermarket kits.

And the day is done.  No boredom yet.
