Daytona Ave

A 2 mile walk started our day despite the threat of rain.

Yup, we were the only ones out and about.  Go figure.

We wound up getting our first Shingles vaccine and then we found a project.

This is Nap and Myrtle Lajoie.

They built 188 Daytona Ave back in 1941.

Then Del and Lillian moved in to help care for Nap in his old age.  The front door became "the" place to pose for photos.

Lillian, Louis, Paul in Memere Adam's arms, Lucille                                                                                            and Del with Michael in front.

                                                    Michael

Kim and Thomas in what became known as "the office".

Dan, Scott and Thomas at the office.

                                                                    Uncle Del

                                                                Aunt Lily

Paul hanging drop cloths.                            Drop cloth did its job!

Second side.  Rain still holding off!

There was no intent on even attempting anything other than scraping today with the threat of rain and the cooler temps.  But the skies cleared and we just kept painting.

We love how it turned out.  Hopefully the owners like it as much?
