The No Plan Plan

Another long day in the car.  After driving to Palm Beach International airport to return our rental (thank you Don for letting us borrow a car), we stopped at Marc's to pick up packages (thank you Marc!) and then to Mack Sails to pick up our cleaned and repaired mainsail.  The weather was icky - dark and rainy,  and the traffic was not so nice.  I thought driving in Puerto Rico was bad.  South Florida is worse with weavers and speeders.

But the return was smooth.  The packages were perfect. And the sail is beautiful (and neatly folded).  Dunkin was a welcome stop.  And check out the bush out front.  One lone perfect flower.   A beautiful anomaly.

Dinner was enjoyable with Lorelei and Mori.  Bluewater cruising friends that have been instrumental in our journey.  Friends who continue to be supportive and inspiring.  And they brought cannoli cake!

Being here in Daytona was not in the "plan".  Trying to remain positive while we wait for parts is not always easy.  We had planned on being with friends in the Bahamas but here we are with continued northern winds and cold temps.  Thank you Lorelei for easing the pain with laughter and great stories.  It brings meaning to "everything for a reason".

The plan - no plan.  Keep waiting.
