Biking on A1A

We left very early this morning for a bike ride.  There were a few other people out and about since it seems most Floridians are slow starters.  Temps in the mid 60s and a nice breeze made for a very comfortable ride.

I have no idea how this photo developed special effects.
While riding I snap pictures but most of the time I am
guessing what exactly is in the frame.
Staying upright, avoiding obstacles and trying to take
pictures while not dropping my phone puts even my ability
 to multitask to the test!

We intended to cross to A1A via Main Street Bridge but somehow we flew right by it and didn't realize it until we passed the marinas.  Plan B - cross on Orange Ave.  The only problem - it's 65 feet above the water.

Paul made it all the way up while I had to walk my bike.

While resting at the crest of the bridge we witnessed the Air Force Thunderbirds practicing their formations.  Pretty cool (and loud!).

A1A proved to be just as empty as the mainland roads.

We did cross back over via Main Street Bridge.

After a little painting and quick showers we headed to New Smyrna movie theater.  We were the only ones watching the movie - Love Hurts.  Actually I think there was only one other family  in the whole building!

Everyone must be at the racetrack instead of on the roads or movies.  Good for us!
