New Smyrna

New Smyrna has great sidewalks that are wide, winding and lead to great places to sit and enjoy the day.

We wound up at a very active boat dock.  Usually it is the loading and unloading of boats that prove entertaining.  Today it was the pelicans.  A fisherman was cleaning his catch and feeding the carcasses to the birds.  These were big fish and watching the pelicans try to swallow them was mesmerizing.

These birds have the best head and chest hair!

These three dogs were very well balanced and calm while
                                                the bait fish was unloaded.

The beach itself was so foggy.  There were lots of people walking and enjoying the many restaurants on the main drag.  Definitely a place I would revisit.

We also completed painting the remaining windows this morning.

And we have a date with the mechanic for Friday!  A productive morning, enjoyable afternoon and hope that our days on land are soon ending!
