Roofing with Ingenuity
A very strange kind of day. The noise from the motorcycles have been consistent and okay. However, for more than a few hours early this morning (4am) a helicopter circled the area. What was happening? I don't know. Nothing good is my guess. Made for a sluggish day.
But the weather was gorgeous and Paul decided to finish his project. I say his project because I was a minimal helper.
The new "roof" required a new frame since the old one was rotted and the shingles were falling off. (Yesterday's post shows the old roof.) I was in charge of painting the ends. Sadly we evicted a family of geckos.
This one waited until we were in the garage to try to vacate.Tool choice here was limited but Paul made it work.
Hedge clippers cut the roof material with little fanfare.
And we played trivia tonight at Ormond Garage. We were not so smart but did not come in last place. (That's all I have to say!)
