Stuart Walkabout

This morning we headed out by dinghy then foot to the local ACE hardware.  A roundtrip of just over 5 miles was necessary because I needed a new vacuum.  The monstrosity that came with the boat was heavy, had icky bags, had to be plugged in and while turned on became very hot.  I now own a DustBuster!  Way easier!

We also passed a Publix (vanilla extract) and the bank (cash is king).

I also used the cooler morning to bake bread and crackers.  Both turned out yummy.

A few minor chores, some reading and a call to our insurance company.  Leaving for the Bahamas requires us to notify them - the only problem - our agent is on vacation and her coverage - clueless.  Ugh!  Paul eventually straightened him out and we are cleared to leave.

The plan - Farmer's market in the morning, continue watching the boat parade that passes by our mooring all day long and wait on our weather window.
