Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Florida

A very early start from Old Bahama Bay.  We were awake before 4am and were ready to go as soon as there was enough light to safely move away from the dock and our neighbor (just a few feet from us).  Awesome job we did (with a wee bit of help from the neighbor).

So excited to be on our way "home".  Wind and seas looked good.  Sunrise so beautiful!

We both took naps on the back sling (not at the same time!)

Paul had to open our front "window" to get more
                                         air flowing into the cockpit.

The stunning blue water was mesmerizing!
                                        Water temp = 91 degrees.

And then we were directly into the wind and we slowed to a
                                        mere 3.5 knts.  Ugh!

We had plenty of time to practice putting the sails up and
down and trimming them to achieve a faster sail.  Some success.

Sadly, I tripped over Stumpy causing him to lose
a couple leaves.  He bleeds milky white!

We arrived in Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Florida just as the sun was setting.  Finding a spot to anchor was a bit frustrating but we persevered and are happy with our spot just south of Peanut Island.  There is a nice breeze which makes all the difference in feeling cooler (same temp as Bahamas).
