Lake Worth

A very pleasant day hanging out in Lake Worth.  A nice breeze keeping us cool, plenty of sunshine and very little boat traffic.  An early morning noise disturbance (leaf blower) was short and then just our music and water lapping against the boat.

A barge full of beach sand motoring along.

There is always that one neighbor that spoils the ambiance!

McMansions on one side of the waterway and condos, homes and marinas on the other side.  We are anchored along the back "alley" away from the main channel which means less boat traffic but the boats that do drive by are not honoring the no wake premise.  Still I am liking this spot with a secure anchor, few boat neighbors and swinging with the breeze is keeping us cool.

We have chosen our next couple of anchorages as we head north but for now we are catching up on sleep (Paul slept almost 12 hours!).  The sails are tucked away along with all our fenders and dock lines.  After being in marinas for weeks I am loving the rocking from the waves and even swinging with the tide changes.  Go figure!

I do miss swimming (the water here really is not appealing) but my ears probably need the break from all the water!  I might wind up missing AC but so far so good.
