Daytona Beach

We had our lunch on Daytona beach today and look who came to visit!  Fred!!

Of course Paul fed him part of his sandwich.  I think he knew this was our final visit and came to say goodbye!

The beach was crowded with soooo many teenagers and little kids on their brand new boogie boards.  It was high 80s with only a slight wind.  Hot!  But not the water (79 degrees) chilly but not chilly enough to stop me.  Love it!

So many memories on this beach.

2001:

                                                        Thomas and Kevin
and I have no idea what is in the pail.

                                                Kevin, Megan and Thomas

2003:
                                                        Paul, Scott and Megan

                                                                Kevin
(Don, I think those toys are still at your house!)

                                                            Megan and Thomas
2008:
                                                        Scott and Megan

                                                                Kevin

                            Megan                                                                    Scott

                                                            Kevin and Scott

2018:
                                                                    Maddy

                                                                Scott and Kevin

2024:
                                                Megan, TJ and Brianna

This morning we played with Paul's new toy.  Way easier to wash the bottom of the coach roof with the many nooks and crannies that hold the dirt.  And because it was so much fun - the whole boat was washed.

Almost before since I remembered to snap a pic part way through the process.  But the streaks of remaining dirt along with the crevices are very obvious.

After.  So happy with the result!

Of course we were only able to power wash because we have unlimited water supply at the marina.  So washing in the rain will still be a thing - I hope!

The plan - trivia tonight and wrap it up at the marina tomorrow.
