Sand Hill Cove

We left early for lunch with mom in Narragansett.  What a beautiful day for a ride - and there was NO beach traffic!  We arrived as the fog was dissipating from the shore.

Sand Hill Cove has always been "the" beach.  Thank you mom for the foresight to purchase a place close to the best kid beach!  We have so many great memories here and look forward to many more.

Our visit was too short (I had forgotten a doctor's appointment) but we will be back.

And then we packed and moved to Megan's to house/dog/horse/chicken/cat sit while they enjoy a much deserved vacation at Lake George!  With multiple pages of very explicit instructions, we succeeded in giving everyone dinner.  We even shared tacos with Rebecca, the newest member of chaos household.

Some house chores, a quick swim and night check/tuck in for all animals.  The cat - easy.  The horses - not too bad with 3 of us working and learning together.  The chickens - uncooperative!  So we decided to revisit a bit later.

Then a return trip to Kevin's to pick up all the items we forgot to pack - toothbrushes, eye medicine for Paul, "barn" shoes for Paul (shoes dedicated specifically for barn duty since they will smell like horse poo) and my box of wine.  Oh yeah - and pillows!  Megan and TJ took all the pillows in the house camping.

And the chickens put themselves to "bed" while we were gone.  Everybody in for the night and we can finally relax!
