Serendipity Day

According to Madeleine Kay, creator of Serendipity Day and author, in her book Living Serendipitously, serendipity is "the willingness to live your life as if everything is a miracle...with the belief that at any moment something wonderful is about to happen."

So many miracles - mini, medium and big.

A simply gorgeous night last night despite the storm.  A huge drop in the temperature and humidity along with a nice breeze - sleeping was wonderful.  Curling under a light blanket - priceless.

All the animals were alive this morning and wicked happy to see us.  The cat - the loudest.  Followed by the horses and then the rooster.  All "singing" us a good morning tune.  The cat acts spastic when released and proceeded to entertain with her jumping and climbing and hunting.

A great haircut by a great stylist.  Kayla has finally found happiness in her personal life.  So happy for her.

Enjoying lunch with friends catching up.  And we re-discovered a restaurant we had sort of forgotten about.  (CHOPS was closed on a Monday - go figure.)

A "quick" trip to New Hampshire to purchase snow tires for the Atlas.  Only used for one season they are brand new.  The price - insanely low.  And the man selling them - met us half way in Nashua.  One of our best Marketplace buys ever!

Dinner with Scott and Rebecca - unexpected and humorous.  How did I not know he does not eat toast?

A quick call to Megan.  She is my only child that knew my middle name.  (And how to spell it!)  Scott came close - he knew it started with a J.  Kevin - nope.  Nothing.  This all started because Kevin applied for his marriage license!!!  It is happening!

LURC has accepted our application and our money (Ha!).

We have been wait listed for the marina in Hawks Key for January.  But there sounds like a strong possibility of something opening.  If not there are so many other options and opportunities.

And Sally and Richard whose boat is named Serendipity.  Miss you guys and your stories!

So many wonderful moments in one day.  Blessed.
