35th Anniversary

Tonight we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary!  Marinated pork loin, sweet potato fries and brussels sprouts all kept warm and we headed to the park to eat lakeside.  Calm waters, no wind, few people and even fewer bugs.  A perfect evening and even better sunset.

This all began when I asked Paul to my Senior Prom.  1985.

The dress was borrowed from a friend and had I known I would have worn a different bathing suit that left no tan lines!

I remembered this when I purchased my wedding dress and choose a strapless bathing suit to wear all summer.

                                        Our own "Titanic" moment.

                                                    Cozumel

So many moments in 35 years!  So many more to come our way!

This morning we said goodbye to Scott and Rebecca and resumed working in the yard.  Our lunch break came early when we disturbed a nest of hornets.  Then our stop for the day also came earlier than anticipated when the chipper ran out of gas and there was no more in the can.  Oh well.  Clearly a sign to enjoy our day.  So a soak in the jacuzzi, a movie and a nap.  Perfect.
