Mapping

Today we continued with chipping branches and felling trees.  The weather has been so cooperative we are taking advantage!  I have completed the path rehab up to Scott's bridge.  I was not tempted to try and walk across - too crooked and sketchy.  The stream  continues to run underneath and looks real mucky!

Using Map My Walk App I was able to plot most of the path.  The green dot is where our backyard meets the far end of the path (inaccessible at the moment).  The bridge is where the red lines loop back on themselves.  Now I just have to connect the two.  The red dot is the house.  The blue arrow is the site for the new garage.

And look what I found while perusing the app!

While at work one night (2021), I decided to "map my rounds".  More than 5 miles later I returned to the office for paperwork, phone calls, etc.  My total steps for that night - 37,000.  Crazy.

Today's holiday - Defy Superstition.  Having been born on Friday the 13th - I have no superstitions.  Not that I go around breaking mirrors or walking under ladders!  And fun word - triskaidekaphobia - the fear of the number 13!  (There is literally a word for everything!)

Also Roald Dahl Day!  I loved James and The Giant Peach as a kid and read it so many times.  And of course - Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.  Even the movie versions of the story - both - I can watch again and again.  Such imagination!
