The "Path"

After a very late start we managed to accomplish quite a bit.  Two batches of laundry dried easily in the warm sunshine.  A trip to the dump - 8 boxes of recycles, 2 boxes of metal and 2 bags of deposit cans (donated to the kids) and 1 small bag of garbage.  I cut the lawn.  Paul took down a few more trees and then we proceeded to chip the smaller branches while the logs were either transported to the "path" or set aside for the "path".

The "path" is a loop through our woods that we established many years ago and sadly have neglected.  Many hours were spent zooming through on the snowmobiles and the 4 wheeler.

Megan and Scott 2013

Scott even built a bridge over a small brook in 2016.

He did all the work and all the logs were cut with a bow saw by hand!

And baling twine from the hay bales was used to secure them together.

As of today I have managed to reclaim only 300 feet of the "path".
I have not yet reached the bridge but I am close!

There are 2 very large piles of wood chips.

And there are two piles of logs awaiting transport.
Hopefully there are enough to finish the path so we can start using it again!

The plan - back to RI in the morning.  And we have made contact with our project manager, Brianna, who will begin our design process.  Yea!
