Rangeley, Maine

It was a perfectly lovely ride in 80 degrees all the way to Maine.  80 in October!  Gorgeous!

And we arrived to find we had company!

I enjoyed my lemonade on the back deck watching as Mike took down the two huge trees and made piles .  One of stumps.  One for brush.  And one for the large boulders.  It was heaven watching as he quickly took care of trees we would have spent hours taking down.

And with the dump truck needing the driveway tomorrow, we moved the boat up the street to Don's (Thank you!).

We returned to find the mice had quite the party while we were gone.  Tissues and aluminum foil scattered everywhere.  Ugh!  After sanitizing the kitchen (and Paul removing the bodies) I then tackled the flies.  What is it with the flies?  Like Amityville Horror!  Thankfully my vacuum works very well.

Now we relax.  Pretend we are retired.  Watching a movie after a simple supper of burgers.

Oh and I forgot something.  The charging cord to my laptop.  Ugh!  So I am typing fast, there will be no editing and with luck I can have a new one delivered by Friday.  (And we now have to rent a PO box.  Ugh!  With all our traveling, packing and unpacking, no surprise I forgot something.
