Sunrise Departure

A stunning sunrise view from the deck of Quiet Time.  We slept unnoticed by anyone and loaded the car between rain showers.  Huge puddles surrounded the boat and frogs covered the deck.  Super glad that we did not leave the dinghy re-tarping for this morning!  It would have been a very wet task!

On the road before 730am meant we spent less than 20 hours in St Augustine.  Not something either one of thought would occur.  But happy we are headed back to RI briefly before heading to Maine.

We were truly entertained on the highway:

In a dead stop due to a "major accident" we were clocked
doing 77 MPH.  Something fishy with their equipment!

Lots of boats being towed.   This was the most outrageous.
What do all those motors provide?

In South Carolina there was a POTHOLE!  What?!?
I don't think Waze could keep up with the ones in RI!
                                        (We never saw the pothole.)

I had to research this business!  Kid and adult lemonade
with a TCH option.  And they cater!

We have stopped in Fredericksburg, Va for the night and enjoyed a local diner for dinner.  And we get to shower!

The plan - Rise early and drive through Washington before people start waking up.
