Limbo

Limbo is where we are.  We are confirmed for delivery on Monday and the work crew should arrive shortly beforehand.  Paul widened the driveway a bit more today and then cleared the French drain outlet.  Situated in the side yard, it has been ignored for years and the trees had grown significantly.  So though cold, we did a bit of outside work.  Inside - some cleaning, reading, painting and baking.

Our walk before dinner - cold!  Beautiful!

Today is National Indiana Day.  In February of 2015 Megan and I visited Indianapolis for a brief few days.  Beautiful and not really what I had envisioned.

                                Windmills for miles upon miles!

                                                Farmland I definitely expected.

The White River Canal right through downtown.

                                                    Pretty impressive from the sky.

And they have two airports!  Who knew?  When it was time to head to the airport, I entered "airport" into the GPS.  Brought us to the airport in plenty of time.  The WRONG airport.  As soon as I realized, I sped up and headed to the right one.  Only the GPS had our arrival time past our departure time.  I called Paul to see if he could switch our flight - nope.  I broke a few speed limits!  We arrived, ran through security (almost forgetting my belt), continued running in socks to our gate and rounded the corner to a whole lot of bewildered people.  (Yes, we were those people!)  The gate was empty!  Ugh.  I was prepared to purchase new tickets at a later time.  Until one of the people staring at us pointed out - our plane had not even arrived yet!  Never so happy that a plane was soooo late!  Lesson learned - double check all addresses prior to entering in the GPS.
