Snow Day
A pretty day with almost constant light, swirling flakes of snow. Cold enough but no real wind to make it uncomfortable.
After working in the basement this morning cleaning and making room for the new garage windows and door to "wait", we headed to town. First stop - the post office. Paul retrieved our junk mail and our PARCEL card. A package too big for our box! Problem - the staff is at lunch for an hour. Okay. We headed to the library for movies. I picked out movies, grabbed a gift idea from the Giving Tree and then we sat down to wait for an hour. (The Giving Tree helps kids, families and seniors in the town throughout the year. I chose books for teenagers, of course!) Then back to the post office where, oops, the PARCEL card was placed in the wrong box. No surprise for us.:(
Last year on this date - Ciro's in Woonsocket. Dark, with strange architecture and trivia I thought we would have made it back there. Nope, not yet.
