Relative Cold

So cold!  With the low overnight at minus 9, we were "happy" to see zero as we headed out of town this morning.  The lake was "steaming" and patches of ice were visible in patches.

Same view of Rangeley Lake at the town dock just 5 weeks apart.

The cove near Main Street just 3 weeks apart.

We headed out early this morning knowing we had a few stops to make on the way to RI.  Despite a few hiccups on the highway (what's with the oversized loads?), we made good time and made it to Megan's by 3pm.  Drop off Fenway, sort through our mail and packages and head to Lincoln.

Unload the car, sort through packages and mail and then head out to complete Christmas shopping and some food shopping.   Of course since it was close to dinner time - a stop at Bandidos!

I really did miss Bandidos Mexican while we traveled.  There is no comparison that we have yet found.

And here in Lincoln it is a balmy 23 degrees!  So crazy!  It's not that I feel warm but I don't feel cold either!

And on this date in 2016, we were in Hawaii.  Christmas season in Hawaii - strange.  Best song - Mele Kalikimaka!  Every time we hear this song, we have to smile.  They take this season very seriously even without snow!

Glad to be in RI for the weekend and taking a "break" from work.
