Shovels and Rakes

A crisp, cold, sunny morning with 2+ inches of fresh snow.  We headed out early to shovel and develop a game plan.  Temps predicted for low 20s with lots of wind and feel like temps in the single digits.

The lift and crew showed up at 10am and Paul put them right to work.

A day of immense progress.  Five purlins, 1 eave strut, 4 rakes (roof trim) and strapping.  What a difference with a lift and guys who can lift/drill and run the machine.
Just a couple of straps are hanging awaiting final install.
Otherwise the roof is ready for panels!

The rakes edge along the outside.

Tomorrow's plan - finish the strapping and begin roof panels.  The temps are predicted low 20s but almost no wind.  Maybe a bit of snow.  Fingers crossed again.
