Last Minute Chaos

Another super fast day where we accomplished everything we set out to do.  The morning was spent washing the bed linens, packing and organizing.  Though we flew home last June with only 2 small bags, somehow we have accumulated many items that need to return to the boat.  New art supplies, spare parts and zincs for the boat, a nutribullet and accessories, books and snacks and drinks for the drive.

Looks chaotic but each bag or box has a purpose.

Last minute errands - bank, Goodwill drop off, gas station and the stupid market for last minute dinner items.   Thank you TJ for cooking dinner - yummy eggplant!  A great game of Continental and goodbyes.  Megan and TJ (and of course Brianna) we will see in April.  Everyone else we are depending on frequent phone calls and facetime to stay in touch.  A bit sad but I know they are capable of anything and can depend on one another.

The car is mostly packed but due to freezing temps tonight - anything that can freeze is waiting in the house.

The plan - wake at 2am, pack the cooler and last minute items and be through New York before the rest of the world wakes.  We are also hoping to drive through Washington DC without major traffic issues.  (Fingers crossed!)
