Pine Glades

This morning's walk - Pine Glades.  Just a few minutes west of us, it was a perfect spot to watch the sun burn off the dense fog.  And the angle of the sun - perfect for observing the millions (yes millions!) of spider webs that covered the foliage, fences and anything else that could be spun onto.  Very, very creepy.  Paul had a stick to knock the webs off the path so we could pass safely.  I didn't see any spiders though (thankfully).

After a shower and breakfast we wandered by car checking out the area.

Burt Reynolds Park - so-so.  Mostly used by boater's to slide into the ICW.

Porter Park - a little tiny beach set in a ritzy neighborhood.

The new Jupiter Bridge looks wonderful from the car!

Hobe Sound - down 40+stairs to a very calm and nearly empty beach.  And a nature center with a very knowledgeable (and I think lonely) docent that relayed excellent histories on every snake, tortoise, scorpion, possum and salamander.

A game of Continental after a lovely dinner with everyone at Marc's - a great ending to the day!
