Riverwalk

This morning we headed to Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale.  A sunny 76 with a beautiful warm breeze - perfect for walking.  After locating reasonable parking, we followed the brick path to the water.

Our first site - the railroad bridge that caused us extreme anxiety just a few days ago.  On this side of the tracks everything is beautiful and peaceful and the extended freight train - amazing.

The pilings we used to prevent floating in the wrong direction.

History of Fort Lauderdale Museum - well done and very informative.

Paul's breakfast of cream cheese and blueberries.

And while we were enjoying our coffee, another super yacht
was getting towed towards the ocean.  Must be a thing because
they are sooooo large and the river not so much!

Historic Stranahan House Museum.  A very, very full house.

My favorite spot was the veranda overlooking the river.

                                                    Miniature stairs to ?

Everything was very detail oriented.  The bathroom even had
                                     a potty chair for toddlers.

By 1230pm we had walked almost 4 miles, ridden a water taxi, had breakfast, visited two museums, watched plenty of people and more boats and lost the car.  Yup - when we attempted to walk back to the parking lot we zigged instead of zagged.  Of course, I forgot to pin the lot on my phone so we wandered a bit.  Eventually we located the car and headed out.

A quick stop at Walmart - a new phone cord for my new phone so my car play will work and fresh veggies.

The plan - moving to a different airBNB tomorrow and more exploring!
